Tobias Rauber

Tobias Rauber began his career as an apprentice for mechatronics at Alcatel, whereafter he graduated as mechanical engineer at Zurich University of Applied Science in Winterthur in the year 2001.

After having gathered experience in an engineering office specialized in value engineering, he joined SMS Concast AG as a development engineer and project manager in Zurich. He was responsible for the development of special products like Optical Product Recognition and magnetic stirrers.

He spent three years in Angola for the representative company of Liebherr being responsible for sales and service contracts for earthmoving machinery, followed by a period of self-employed project work in industrial engineering and transportation services of heavy goods. 2011 he joined BASF Meyco Equipment Chief Quality and Cyber Security Officer as Head of Development & Technology where he introduced state of the art innovation management processes and redeveloped the entire product portfolio of sprayed concrete robots. During this position, he obtained his Master of Science in Electrical Engineering at the University of Applied Science in Darmstadt. He played an active leadership role in the transition of operation of the Meyco business from BASF to Atlas Copco and established the AC centre of technology for sprayed concrete in Frauenfeld.

2018 he dedicated his expertise to the industrialization of a start-up company in agricultural robotics.

He is currently Chief Quality and Cyber Security Officer at tiko Energy Solutions AG, being also responsible for the operations of the Energy Management System.
