Daniel Clauss and Stefan Doerig add strength to tiko Energy Solutions

tiko Energy Solutions AG has been on course for expansion since the majority takeover by the French energy group ENGIE. With the arrival of Daniel Clauss as COO and Stefan Doerig as Head of Regulation and Public Affairs, the innovative young company underlines its ambitions to enter new international markets.

Daniel Clauss spent the last seven years as Head of Sales and Services and a member of the Executive Board at Public Utility of the Canton Schaffhausen EKS. Prior to this, he spent 14 years in various national and international sales and organizational roles at the investment goods division of the telecommunications company Nokia. Before that, the 57-year-old electrical engineer, holder of an EMBA, worked in research and development of high-tech products in various companies.

Stefan Doerig was most recently responsible for national and international growth at the software start-up enersis. Prior to this, he was Energy Councilor at the Mission of Switzerland to the EU in Brussels from 2013 to 2017, where his responsibilities included supervising bilateral electricity negotiations. Before moving to Brussels, the 40-year-old historian and economist worked as a Deputy Head of Section at the Swiss Federal Office of Energy SFOE and as an energy economist at BKW AG.

Daniel Clauss joined tiko in February 2020 and Stefan Doerig joined in March 2020.
